Andy Martin, where he used data from the
US Census to examine a particular linguistic phenomenon in English. Essentially,
The Origins of Lexical Biases: Evidence from Navajo Compounds and English Naming Preferences found that English names with the same liquids (/r/ and /l/) tend to appear less frequently together (as in Margaret and Delilah compared to the more common Claire and Eleanor).
